How to Clean RV Windows, Slide-Outs and Seals

Good Price Detailing · Southeast Florida

Windows

Rinse off grit first, then clean with a soft cloth and a glass cleaner suited to your window type. Dry with a clean microfiber towel.

Slide-out seals

Wipe seals gently with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Check your owner’s manual for products to avoid, since harsh chemicals can dry out rubber.

Slide-out tracks and edges

Clear leaves, dust and debris from tracks and edges before retracting the slide-out.

Door and storage seals

Wipe seals around doors and storage hatches to keep dirt from building up.

Look while you clean

Cleaning is a good time to notice cracks or gaps. If you see any, have them checked by an RV technician.
